I made a lot of things this summer while we were in Richardson. This cute little card was made using some of the new SU! In colors: dusty durango, crushed curry, and bermuda bay. The butterflies were made using the set Flight of the butterfly and punched with the new butterfly punch.

Scrapbooking!

So I have been on a little bit of a scrapbooking kick lately. I have completed several pages this week. Most- but not all of my supplies used were from Stampin' Up! I love the retired Wintergreen dsp from SU! I used a retired dsp called Holiday Harmony also. There was a matching accents and elements "sticker" set called Hand Selected that I used on the two page layout with the Holiday Harmony paper. I used my 5-petal flower punch, ticket corner punch, and photo corner punch- all from SU! See Elisa- it's not hard.

A mini-book for Princess

This weekend I made a mini album (paper bag album) for my dog Princess. I used a paper pack from Close to My Heart (CTMH) called "Let's Get Together". I used the coordinating Ribbon Rounds ribbons for embellishment. For the title I used SU! Cranberry Crisp (retired) ink and an old set of alphabet letters that I don't remember where I got them from. I also used SU! punches: tag and small tag, 1 and 1/4 circle, scallop circle, round tab, and photo corner. (I love punches!) Look below to find the slideshow of the album. Thanks for looking!

Finished the mini-album

I just finished my mini-album dedicated to my doggie Tinker. She passed away in November after a very brief illness. She was only 9 years-old. I miss her like crazy. Please scroll down the page to view the mini-album in slideshow form. It is a "paper bag" album made with SU! Apple Cider DSP and matching cardstock (really rust, river rock, wild wasabi and chocolate chip). The pull-outs also have non-SU! flowers and brads. I used my round tab punch from SU! for the pull-out tabs. The album is tied together with River Rock double-stitched ribbon. Thanks for looking.

Back home

Jake and I made it safely back to Lubbock last night. We spent about 2 weeks in Richardson visiting family. Elisa and I got to do quite a bit of crafting (though it is never really enough). We tried to focus mainly on scrapbooking this time. We did make a few cards (since it was Father's Day), and we made our first "card candy". I used Berry Bliss dsp by Stampin' Up! and Elisa used a retired SU! dsp. I can't think of the name right now. I used Styled Silver hph and she used Pewter.

Progressive scrapbook page

I wanted to try a progressive page. You start by making a 6x6 page. Then you add that page to an 81/2x11 page. Then that goes on a 12x12. I used materials from a scrapbooking "kit" I got for Christmas. Elisa will recognize the stuff.

Filing cabinet inserts

I was hating the little labels in my filing cabinets at work so I made these. They slide in to the slots and look really cute. I haven't labeled them yet because I may change around what is in my files after summer vacation.
I used Notations DSP from SU! and non-SU! flowers and brads.
